Well, Got a good nights sleep and a beautiful morning and then window wouldn't go up. I stopped in the nearest town, Panguitch, adorable. They sent me to Cedar City, back where I was, 80 miles. So two steps back, but I have wifi here. It is now 4 p.m. and I am heading out again. Back to Red Canyon for the night unless I get tired before then. I will head out Hwy 12 Utah's Scenic Byway tomorrow.

Hi Linda, I never thought about the problem of traveling with a dog. I think there is a column you need to get out to others who might consider this venture. There seems to be a niche for a small business attending to pets of people who travel. Well tomorrrow is the last day of summer school for those of us still working. Students in my Biology class are making multimedia presentations on why we should save the different biomes of the world.Reading of your travels makes this seem more important...

Callie, Zoie and the rest of us are fighting the fleas here. I am considering flea collars for all.
