July 27 Revisited

July 27, 2006 Revisited
After driving 80 miles each way, I was back where I started with my window fixed , about 6 p.m. It was a wonderful time for a hike. Curly and I explored a bit of Red Canyon. We took the Pink Ledges trail .6 miles. Then we went on the Birds’ Eye Trail 1.7 miles. It was wonderful. As I walk I think about how friends would love this. Marsha would love this hiking. Vivian and Scott, bring your ATV’s and guns, you would have a great trip. I wish I could hike with Culry in National Parks. I do understand the National Park Rules but the state parks here are for hunters and their dogs too. Then I took the advice of the man from the glass shop. I took a dirt road for four miles and camped in solitude. I could sit outside and not hear the neighbors. I could run my generator after 10 to recharge this computer and not bother any one. So what started as a lost day ended delightfully. The pictures here are the sunset from the hike and sunset at my camp site.
